Inside the Lexington Opera House

Good morning!

Getting ready to leave Poplar Bluff and heading out to Rolla, Missouri about three hours away.  It takes a while to upload photos sometimes so as I get ready, I'm going to post a few photos of views inside the Lexington Opera House...

Off to pack up for the trip to Rolla.  Have great days!

Yesterday (An Opera House Farewell and Rock Star Bus Greeting)

Hey there, Friends...

Greetings from Poplar Bluff, MO. It's about 1:30PM Missouri time. It's been one week today since we left Abingdon for Greeneville. Haven't had a lot of time to write, but I'm hoping to write for about 10 or 15 minutes a day from now on. I hope you enjoy the photos and thoughts. Here are a few photos from yesterday...

Mom and Dad came down the day before and saw the show. The next morning we had breakfast and the amazing Dave (a member of our cast) had us laughing heartily as he took our photo. Later that morning, we did a morning matinee for high school students and then got lunch before boarding the bus for the first time.  Rick McVey and I took a walk after lunch.  Here are a few shots from the walk.

Fountain steps...

Banners hanging outside the Opera House...

Rick receiving instructions from the STAGE DOOR sign...

Experiencing the tour bus for the first time...

More anon...

Have great days!

Day One - Greenville!

Hey there, Friends...

Arrived in Greeneville today at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center and worked through the show on stage with basic tech. An absolutely beautiful space. Huge. 1135 seats. Incredible acoustics. (http://www.greenevillenpac.com/)

Staying at the General Morgan Inn. (http://generalmorganinn.com/) Also lovely.

Will write much more over the coming days. For the moment, gonna get some sleep to be ready for another big tech day tomorrow.

Hope all are well...
