Walt Whitman Hall at The Brooklyn Center, New York City!

52 shows in 20 states.   15, 057 miles traveled over two months.  10 days and 8 hours of total driving.

"Warriors for the working-day..."

Nice one, huh?  Rebecca is amazing with a camera.  She took this as we got off the bus for the final performance.  Make sure you check out her photos on her blog site.  The link is on the top right hand corner of this page.

Molly has a final pep talk with Rocky.

Pre-show fueling at an Appleby's across the street.

The final fight call and sound check.

It was a wonderful tour to say the least.  Learned so much.  Saw the country.  Made new friends and strengthened the bonds with old ones.  Shared beautiful theatre...

I am grateful.

The trip back home...

So much love,
O.

West Point

Enormous house on the campus of West Point.  Second largest on the east coast.  Largest is Radio City Music Hall.

Cadets prepare programs in the back of the orchestra.

On to Brooklyn!

Sorry this is so short.  But we're leaving half and hour earlier than we planned because the crew bus that traveled all night to get to the venue discovered that it took them much longer than expected because they encountered several bridges that were too low for the bus to safely pass under.  Wow.  So we're getting a little emergency early start so as to allow for time to get there both on time and with the bus intact!

Always an adventure...

Have good days!

New Bedford... The Zeiterion Theater and Meg Atkinson!

Good morning...

Hope all are well.

Had two shows yesterday at the Zeiterion Theater in New Bedford.  Here are a couple shots of the space...

Peeking through the curtains...

Had the pleasure of seeing Meg Atkinson last night.  She looked great.  She just got her personal training certification and is doing great in Boston.  Doing lots of theater and directing now, too!   Go Meg!!!

Two more stops.  Two more shows.

Wow.

This whole thing has just flown by.  Someone yesterday said that if felt like one long day.  A great day.  But this is a great descriptor.

On to West Point...

En Route to New Bedford

Here's one more shot of Mike and Tara and O. post show in Orono.

And here's one of Sean encountering the stuffed baby black bear in the lobby of the hotel in Orono.  Yes, the bear is holding a football.

Ok...  Back on the bus en route to New Bedford, MA.  Shots from the bus as all celebrate the joys of receiving the baked goods sent by Mamma O to Mike and Tara and passed on to us!

Thank you, Mom!!!!  You fueled a journey to Boston!  And so did you, Kris!  Thank you for the amazing blueberry muffins!  I really connected with them...  :)

More celebration of loved ones and baked goods...

On the New Hampshire border sits the New Hampshire State Liquor Store.  It has it's own exit.  And I guess there are no taxes on their merchandise.  The place is huge.  They have grocery carts!  So we stopped for about 10 minutes and all did our quick things.  Betsy has been working on Godiva's new line of liquors.  And so...

I had to support my friend, Betsy, right?  Can't wait to try it.  Now everyone else buy them, too, yeah?  Come on!  Support Betsy!  Don't think of it as spending money.  Think of it as loving an amazing person.  :)

And some shots from our drive through downtown Boston..

And some shots from dinner last night...

Had a solid show this morning for students.  Headed back to the theater in a couple hours for dinner and then another show.

Have great evenings, all!

Orono!

Good morning from Orono, Maine!

Had a great show last night and a great visit with Mike and Tara and their Splendid Gang who came all the way up from Bar Harbor to see the show.  It was so wonderful to see them all...

We arrived in Orono in the mid-afternoon.  Shortly thereafter, I took a walk to see the amazing people above for dinner.  The sun was setting as I crossed a bridge over Stillwater River.

After dinner, Mike took me to the theater for fight call and sound check.

A close up on Mike Catalan in the sound booth...

Ben redefines dance...

Half-hour...

Had a great show.  Said hello and goodbye to The Splendid Gang after the show.  Time was too short!  After a round of hugs,  Mike, Tara, and I parted ways with them as we headed out in search of dessert.  We were victorious.  Had a great visit.  Again...TOO SHORT!

A short while later after Mike and Tara left for home, I found some crazy actors at a local bar and joined them for a bit of the evening.

We're headed to New Bedford, MA at the moment.  No show today.  Just traveling.  Missing Maine already.

And here are a few shots from the drive up to Maine yesterday.  Vince and I sippin' coffee in the sun...

Have good days...

En Route to Concorde, New Hampshire

Did a show this morning in Ogdensburg, New York.  The crew began their drive all the way to Orono, Maine, while we headed out to Concorde, New Hampshire to spend the night.  After we headed out from New York, but before splitting up, both buses stopped for fuel...

Molly and Rocky check out the parking lot.

Marcy and Rocky mind meld.

Our esteemed drivers, Scott and Mickey...

Mike, our Technical Director, shows off his snacking skills in his pj's.

And then I take a quick tour on the crew bus...

Marcy, Molly, and Rebecca know something we don't...

Anthony, Matthew, and Mike redefine cool...

The crew continued on to Orono and we headed to Concorde.  Robin, Gannon, Rick, and I went out to dinner at The Common Man restaurant and then joined Ben for a nightcap.  It was a brisk walk to and from dinner.  A proper winter's eve in northern New England.

Tomorrow we head to Orono for a 7pm show.  And before and after...a reunion with Mike and Tara and the gang!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait!
